For Anti-Algorithm's Community Graduation Celebration Trunk Party, I provided event photography documenting a West Philadelphia community celebration featuring local musicians, artists, vendors, and graduates. My role focused on capturing the people, creativity, and moments that brought the event to life.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Capturing Community Through Creativity.

 

The Community Graduation Celebration Trunk Party brought together members of the West Philadelphia community to celebrate local graduates through music, art, and small business. Hosted by Anti-Algorithm, the event created space for local musicians to perform and vendors to share and sell their creative work.

My role was to document the event through photography, capturing both the larger energy of the celebration and the individual people who made it possible.

Photographed the celebration throughout the event, capturing key moments and creating a visual record of the day's activities.

Documented local musicians and performances, focusing on the energy, movement, and atmosphere they brought to the event.

Captured local artists, vendors, and the goods they created, highlighting the creative talent and small businesses represented throughout the celebration.

Focused on candid moments and interactions between attendees, performers, vendors, and organizers to capture the sense of connection and celebration throughout the event.

THE OUTCOME
The final collection created a visual record of the event and the people behind it. Through a combination of candid photography, performance images, and portraits of local creatives and vendors, the project captured the energy and community connection at the center of the celebration.
