PHOTO EDITING & CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
Hazel Harper
Hazel Harper Bespoke Cuffs is a newly founded jewelry brand creating upcycled cuffs inspired by elements of the creator’s Southern heritage. As the brand prepared to establish its social media presence, the founder needed help elevating her existing iPhone photography and developing a cohesive visual aesthetic. I worked with the founder to establish the direction before using Photoshop and Lightroom to transform her photographs into polished social media content.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Turning Everyday Photos Into Brand Content.
Hazel Harper needed to begin building a social media presence, but the photography she had available did not yet have a consistent visual direction. Rather than starting over with an entirely new set of photographs, the project focused on identifying what could be brought out of the existing images and how they could be transformed through editing.
I worked with the founder to establish an aesthetic that complemented the character of her jewelry and the Southern influences behind the brand. From there, I used Photoshop and Lightroom to adjust lighting, color, contrast, composition, and other visual elements across the photographs. The goal was to maintain the personality of the original images while giving them a more polished and cohesive appearance that could be used to represent the brand professionally online.
MY WORK
Visual Direction
Worked with the founder to establish a visual aesthetic for Hazel Harper that reflected the brand’s Southern influences and complemented the character of its jewelry and target audience.
Photo Editing
Edited the client’s existing iPhone photography in Lightroom and Photoshop to improve lighting, color, contrast, sharpness, and overall image quality while creating greater consistency across photographs taken in different settings.
Image Refinement
Used Photoshop to clean up and transform the original photographs, removing distracting objects and visual clutter, cleaning up backgrounds, and refining individual elements within the images. For select photographs, I also replaced the original backgrounds entirely to create a more intentional setting that better complemented the jewelry and overall visual direction.
Social Media Content
Developed the edited photographs into polished, cohesive content that could be used across Hazel Harper’s social media presence, helping establish a consistent visual identity while showcasing the jewelry in a more professional and engaging way.
